The Creation of KIMANA …
Having worked for multiple NGOs including Médecins Sans Frontières, Lulwa Al Kilani was ready for a new adventure. She longed to be more creative in life and craft something pretty that people can enjoy.
She took her love for headbands and merged it with her passion to give back to come up with KIMANA. The name of the brand is a fusion of Lulwa’s family names, Al Kilani andAlMana, placing her West Asian heritage at the centre of the KIMANA brand.
The mission at KIMANA is to empower its community and provide good quality products that are versatile and bring joy. Ultimately, KIMANA’s vision is to move forward as an inclusive society and embrace sustainable fashion, leaving behind low-quality fast fashion.
